Rangers and Celtic want Bright Osayi-Samuel again
According to Fotospor, Rangers and Celtic are both back in search of Fenerbahce winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.
It is claimed that Fenerbahce is already considering selling Osayi-Samuel despite not signing him from Queens Park Rangers until January.
Fenerbahce wants to raise € 15million in player sales this summer and apparently believes the offloading of Osayi-Samuel can help generate cash.
The winger has played 18 times in the Turkish Super Lig, but only managed one goal and one assist in 981 minutes of action.
Osayi-Samuel, 23, was a Queens Park Rangers star but has yet to reach the same heights with Fenerbahce.
This is where Rangers and Celtic could come in. Celtic were excited in September 2020, while Athletic suggested in January that the Rangers had joined them in the race.
Mark Warburton pointed to Osayi-Samuel’s “lightning pace”, and although the 23-year-old hasn’t quite started in Turkey, he is still a dangerous talent.
With the Old Firm duo excited again, we might see them go head-to-head for Osayi Samuel, but there are also championship ‘offers’ – meaning they’ll have to act fast if they want the Nigerian wide man. .
