The creators of “Rings of Power” present the kingdom “Numenor”

New Delhi, Aug 16th (UNI) Prime Video has released a new clip from its upcoming series, ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’, which shows Galadriel, played by Morfydd Clark, introducing Numenor, as ‘the westernmost of all the mortal realms”.

The highly anticipated Prime Video series features a new storyline, reveals the Harfoots, and sets sail for the never-before-seen island kingdom of Numenor.

Surrounded by ocean, the island kingdom offers picturesque views with great history. Actress Cynthia Addai-Robinson, who plays Miriel, Queen Regent of Numenor, describes it as “a very nautical society at the height of its power”.

Pharazon, a Numenorean councilor, played by actor Trystan Gravelle, explains how “half the island wants to cling to Elven culture, while the other half wants to separate”.

Elendil, a Numenorean sailor, played by actor Llyod Owen who foresees the tragedy to come, feels that “to be able to go back and find new manure at his peak is extraordinary, but it’s at a point tipping”.

Set thousands of years before JRR Tolkein’s “The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit”, the series revolves around major events, including the fall of Numenor.

“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” will be released September 2 on Prime Video in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
